The project offers menstrual education tools to integrate and apply in Youth Work contexts. Further, it aims to co-generating responses to combat precariousness and discrimination, in collaboration with the partnerships, and caring for Planet Earth.

Participants explore the physiological, social and political aspects associated with the menstrual cycle and gain resources for conscious, respectful and critical menstrual education. In addition, they participate in intercultural dialogues aimed at generating responses to combat taboo, discrimination and menstrual poverty and to promote the use of sustainable menstrual management products.

Traveling Within: Anatomy, Physiology, and Cyclicity

Facilitated by Mikaela Estrada

This class offers a journey through the sexual anatomy of bodies with a uterus and the physiological functioning of the ovulatory menstrual cycle. The talk presents an anatomical and physiological exploration that considers the energetic, living, and embodied aspects of the organs, and invites us to approach them from an integral perspective that embraces felt somatic awareness and a connection to the emotional information held within the body.

Gender and Intersectionality in menstrual sovereignty

In this class, Serena explains the concept of intersectionality and explores how it relates to menstrual sovereignty, highlighting the political, social, and intersecting dimensions of the menstrual cycle.

WILD WOMB TOOLKIT

A non-formal education toolkit that promotes collective knowledge and participatory methods to support personal and social transformation. It includes movement and breathing practices, eco-somatic walks, artistic expression, sharing circles, and discussions on menstrual rights to challenge taboos, address inequalities, and strengthen menstrual literacy in youth work.
